When I can get the garage door open and there is less than a 40% chance of rain, I ride mine. Broke a torsion spring on the garage door Monday morning and couldn't get it fixed until today (Tuesday). Been Jonesin' to get on my bike!
I ride about 70 miles round trip from south of Houston into Houston. At least I don't need to ride the Gilf Freeway!
Oh, yea. The 40 mpg on the Ulta beats 13 mpg in my pick-up. Bike almost pays for itself just in saved fuel!!!!
I ride my glide 100 plus every day. Through mountains, hwys and Sacramento traffic. Left yesterday @ 26 degrees. Came home in the low 50's. rainin' today damnit! Never too cold to ride unless the roads are iced up.
Can I hold my hand up now !
It gits better fuel milage than my truck. Got bags to put stuff in.
So yea, I kinda enjoy riding it everywhere possible.
Best hiway riding bike too. Ever leave home and wish you had of packed something to bring with you.
Yep, similar to Rem - ride my Ultra down here in North Carolina any time it's dry and above freezing - which is year round. Got 24K miles in a bit over two years.
