Just purchased and received some bling for my Police style saddlebags and standard tourpak
After a tip from other forum members I found some replacement hinges for the tour pak and saddlebag.
I installed them this weekend. They look great. No rivets, all chrome, easy to install and remove. They really enhance the look of the saddlebags.
After emailing the ebay seller, I found out he also has the saddlebag inserts (filler where the standard sadllebag handles are located). Ordered a set from him for 90$, which includes the top portion on the lid and the insert. Thats about 1/2 price from the owens option ones that i had been looking for.
Sorry I dont have any pics to post, as I am sending my stuff out for paint today.

Wow!!!For that price you are just a few hundred $$$ from standard hard bags. IMO, doesnt seem worth the expense. Looks great compared to stock police bags though.

 

Those look cool. They actually look right. Ive seen so many that look cheesy.
I was trying to find and 07 FLHTPI when I finally bought my 08, so I was looking for these too at the time.

jb: Looking forward to seeing the pics, especially how far outboard the hinge protrudes, especially from the saddlebags--knowing me, I'd be snagging stuff on them, especially the right-side bag.

I'm still looking for an invisible hinge mounted on the inboard side of the lid and bottom.
