RE: Hawg Wired Installed - And Not Happy
Hey Guys
Thanks for the kind words--Its always my intention to try and help when and if I can--just likeI hope an engine specialist will help me if I have an engine question. That IS the essence of all forums
Truth is I was nervous aboutposting anything audio related. A few months ago I was "invited" not to be part of this forum unless I advertised--this is why I havent been around. I am (was) a forum member first and had to make a choice----was a morals thing to me. Well see if I get another invitiation If Im allowed--I will try to be around more often
PEZ

Hey Retired Ted
If the speakers are out of polarity with each other, they will still be the same volume as each other. The sound will suck--very poor bass, and it will almost be like your ears are crosseyed if that makes sense
I think if the install was done correct--it may simply be a bad amp--in which case the vendor should take care of it without hassle
PEZ (thats 2 audio related posts--damn--Im pushin it now...)

Bart,
I am very glad to hear the H-W guys were able to help you get things closer to where they should be. As I recall, when I set mine up, I did tweak it up just past the upper end of the recommended gain.
I love mine!
Do let us know how it sounds on the road. I have a feeling you're gonna like it.
Thanks for the update!

RE: Hawg Wired Installed - And Happy
I also have the Hawg Wired system and am completely satisfied, I have dealt in pro audio for years and I can say that this system is the best on the market!!! If the system is installed correctly, if not it will be a waste of money. This system has been designed and very well thought out. The customer service (Jason) will do whatever they need to to make the customer happy. I have not dealt with a company that is this dedicated in quite some time................

Test Ride Complete.
Hawg Wired Rocks
Quiet Riot's "Bang Your Head" never sounded so good at 70 mph.
PhilM, DonnyI and others -It wasyou comments on this website that led me to Hawg Wired in the first place. I didn't even know about the company until I heard you guys talk about them. Thanks for being strong advocats.
So come on somebody, start a new thread called"How can I make my sound system sound better" so I can tellmy story about Hawg Wired!

"During the installation I followed the instructions AND after tuning the system in, I rolled back the gain slightly in an effort to protect the speakers." (From the original post.)
Glad you are now pleased with the system. I hope the 400+ folks who read your original posts trashing Hawg-Wired will also see the updated thread.
Thanks for admitting your installation deviated from HW's and was the cause of your dispeasure.
