Let me be the devil's advocate.......I personally would never take a 25,000.00 motorcycle and start changing the paint and reflectors and pinstriping and so forth. I have talked to so many people who shopped for used bikes who said that they would have bought a bike they looked at, but the owner had personalized it too much and devalued the bike. If you change things, they should be things you can easily change back.....just my .02 cents worth........Bldr
