Actually, Zanotti can often be >20% off. An example is the IDS, which lists for $305 and costs $198. I suspect their price structure is cost-plus rather than MSRP-20%, as occasionally they fall above the 20% barrier. You can check their prices on any HD part number, as you can with Chicago HD, which like Lake Shore also offers a blanket 20% off. Like someone else mentioned, check shipping charges, as Zanotti can be higher than Chicago. When I want to place an order I always check first, then usually go with the lowest price. Zanotti keeps a better inventory, and I think Chicago's mail-order section is separate from the retail store, and orders from HD after you order.

Long Time Lake Shore online buyer. It is just sometimes tuff to beat them. Last month they had offered free shipping on order of $500.00 or more. A buddy of mine WAS buying from Chicago HD until they lied to him about free shipping. He placed an 1,800 dollar order and then they charged him shipping. He talked to them mulitiple times and they refused to correct the problem and wouldn't even give him or offer him anything for telling him a lie. I have personally found out in the past that Chicago HD will not sell/ship certain items.

There are a number of good mail order parts stores, most offering a 20% or more depending on the part. I have used Zanotti, M&M, Eastern Performance Cycle and found all of them to be honest and helpful. These guys have to build their business one customer at a time, unlike HD and their big $$ advertizing budget. I can call any of these smaller operations and speak to someone knowledgeable. Try that with your local dealer, it's almost as if they help you out and it's a big favor. For convience I will stop in at the local dealer for things like o-rings, gaskets and other misc. stuff not worth shipping charges. I support the dealers listed so I don't have to be at the mercy of MOCO. JMHO
