I used a RAM mount I had laying around,Not sure what I paid for it.To extend the power cord I soldered the extra wire to the POS and NEG inside the 12v adapter (keep in mind the roady is only 6v so don't wire it direct). The antenna is mounted to the metal bracket for the fairing pouch. (I tried setting it on the rado inside the fairing but lost reception when going north). Finnaly I used a stereo patch to plug into the acc plug on the radio. All the extra wiring is wrapped up in the fairing.

Total cost is about 50 bucks..

What do to guy"s think of that chrome RoadyHolder for Harley-Davidson at cycle gadgets http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products...asp?Item=RDYRS $53.95? They also carry a shorter antenna so you don't have to have that 20ft long pile of wire to deal with.
I like that - It looks like the antenna is built right in so it will get good reception in that position.

The other bag I mentioned earlier was by Kuryakyn and yep - $399 - Yikes!

Just ordered a mount for my Roady 2 from http://www.cyclegadgets.com/. Costs about $40. Mine should be here Friday, once I get it I will try and post pics.

I don't really want to put one on if it will block the sound from the speakers. I mean mounting the sat radio between my ears and the speakers can't make for good sound on that side. I like the chrome handlebar mount but I'd like to see one mounted also.

I don't know if this will help or not because I have a Sirius unit. I used a Sirius One system because it comes with a metal visor clip mount. The visor clip is horseshoe shaped. It also comes with double sided adhesive tape. I mounted the visor clip on the left batwing between the windshield and left fairing mirror. I ran the antenna wire between the windshield and the HD windshield bag and ran the extra wire into the bag and used velcro to mount the antenna onto the top of the windshield bag. The visor clip also has holes for screws, so I will probably also shoot a couple of screws into the visor clip just for extra strength. Here is a picture. It's nothing fancy, but it works.LOL
