Slash - The part number for the support tube cover (the part that fills the two holes where the plate used to be & saya harley Davidson in script in my pic) is 53709-04. I bought it at my local dealer for $18.50. It did not come with screws and the old hex bolts do not work. I do not have the part number for the screws. I just used some spare ones I had laying around in black.
IceHeritage- As stated in the post it is the standard light kit not the run/brake light. The part number for the run brake is 68358-07 lists $89.95
dansflhti- you got lucky or I got screwed. I ordered through Zanotti and used the part number found found in the 2008 HD parts and *** book.
mhud- you'll love the look

Mopar 7 yes. If I remember it was wrapped up with the antenna. It was more towards the passenger seat and on the left side if your sitting on the bike. It also looked like I had an extra plug in where the rear turn signals plug into the mother board if you will, under the tail light cover.
My neighbor has a 07 FLHX and I just copied how his was run from the factory since I already had the plug. I have heard you can also go up under the fender and come out behind the tail light (like the rear directionals). Reminder my bike is a 04.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, It is the tour pak harness.
ORIGINAL: Harleypingman
Mopar: I believe what Crash is describing is the bike's tour pak wiring harness that is tie wrapped with the am/fm antenna; at least that is how it is described in the HD SM for the SGtri-bar LED light connection.
