Default RE:

Two cheap mods I made to my 05 RK custom.
1.After mounting a lightbar with flashers up front, I mounted the stock handlebar mounted flashers on the rear of the bike with red lenses and then wired them into the taillight and blinkers.&nbsp\\; Instant run/turn lights in the rear.&nbsp\\; I also left the stock ones in place. Makes a big difference at night according to my riding buddies.

2.&nbsp\\; Was tired of the stock aluminum plate on my dash so I bought some leather from a local supplier and cut a dash insert.&nbsp\\; Matches the bags looks better IMO.&nbsp\\; Someone could easily make the same thing out of any fabric or shark or snake skin if they chose to.

I tried to attach pics but no luck. website not working.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I'll try again later

Do it yourself painted inner fairing. Painted my inner fairing using Krylon Fusion. Turned out great and cost less than $25. Easy to do remove inner fairing scuff inner-fairing with green scuff pad. Clean real well with rubbing alcohol. Follow directions on can. I used 4 cans and to date I have done this to three other bikes and all turned out great. One buddy painted his well over two years and it still looks fantastic. Cant beat it for the price. If you need to paint it black go for it and save yourself a nickle or two.

Picture is kind of hard to see. Too dark. What I can see looks good.

1" square aluminum rod make my own floorboard extentions. Tired of the wife's crap rattling around lined the 3 storage pouches on glareshield with leather. Also used what we call erosion tape in the avaition world under the seat and backrest so there is no paint rubbing marks
