so you need a bit of material to hold tension.
Yeah, i want to see pics of how the fans are mounted in the lower fairing pockets, esp if that is a Wet head bike!

I would like to see some pics of the fans too. Maybe how the sensor stays in place, wiring to and from sensor to relay. I will figure it out on my own if I have to but would be nice to see how you did it. It seems like a great idea that I will be doing after the air shock project this winter.

I got my Roak King this spring and I can't really find any major projects I want to do to it. One at was glaring though was the license plate. It had to replace the stock holder that stood up like...something inappropriate comes to mind that I won't say. However, I didn't want to spend $40 on one so I modded the stock holder to lay down.
I started by putting it on my anvil and pounding the recessed bolt holes more flat. To reattach I needed to cut a slot in the bolt to accommodate a flat head driver as the socket wouldn't fit anymore. I reinstalled it but that wasn't enough. I opted to break out the dremel and cut off wheel and cut the hole into a U shape. Once reinstalled I could just bend it to the desirable positin. Now it looks pretty decent with the plate back on it.
Maybe I'm partial as I'm too cheap to spend $40 on the part.

When changing primary fluid you need 38 oz. (at least on my Limited Low) It comes in 32 oz. bottles. (Of course it does, so you have to buy 2)
How to measure the extra 6 oz..... that little plastic scoop in a box of laundry detergent is exactly 6 oz. filled right to the brim. It's a little sloppy that way so fill it halfway twice.

1qt out of the jug
6oz out of second jug poured into an old 2 stroke oil 6oz bottle from walmart.
38oz and it was good to go.

I guess you could get by with less than recommended levels without a problem. Does that make it right........ Not according to the manuals. I am an x Air Force helicopter mechanic and I wrench on a lot of bikes now including my own. I use torque wrenches and follow the books for everything as I was taught in the AF.
