This bike was just vivid black and a friend did the paint, mural on fairing, customized the stock air cleaner and points cover, and hand painted HD on tank. Removed the bag guards. Locking lower guard covers. Invisible GDO switch. And more.
I made my own rack out of some aluminum diamond plate I had laying around. I just bought some steel rod and lag bolts from the local tractor supply. I have been thinking about adding a hook to hang my touring seat on it...
I mounted the my little one in the jukebox holder with double sided tape...My Samsung 5s still fits

I did something similar, but since I can open my saddlebags while on the bike, I mounted opener to the lid on left bag. I open it and hit the button as I am approaching my house before pulling in the driveway. Works great!
What?!?! No. Perhaps the old GL1500 but no GL1800 has air shocks stock. The newer gold wing you mention... Gl1800, has been around since 2001 so a bit unclear what you are talking about with "newer" goldwing comment.
I agree with DJ Fire here, I just got off of a Goldwing and the GL1800 is a Single Shock mounted in the center of the bike under the seat and WILL not fit a Harley. Maybe you can use the air pump and switch but I doubt the pump would work for two shocks, but will look for you to prove me wrong.

The GL1800, since 2001, has never had an air system for the rear shocks. There isn't a compressor on that machine. There is an electric actuator that adjusts the spring tention or "pre-load" but no air system has ever been used on a stock production GL1800. That was on the GL1500 and a very limited number of the GL1200.
Made an ignition alignment tool. Took some some flat bar, marked up some measurements and started cutting.
Put a bend in it, sanded down the edges and tested. I was trying to bend the bar so it matched the stock ignition lock.... it didnt quite happen that way.
