I had my rubber dots left over from my home theater speakers. I think you could find them at any hardware place that sells protective pads. Kinda of like the felt pads for chairs, they might sell the protective ribber dots in that same section.

Just completed the rear aux input in the stock radio. Turned out great.

 

Needed some soft wraps for the straps for tying down the bikes. Took some brand new microfiber towels, folded them in quarter (long ways) and then sewed them into a tube. Instant soft ties with very little money.

You have piqued my interest. I have searched the thread completely and cannot find any instructions on a rear auxiliary input on the stock radio. Please share the tip or, if you could, point me to the directions you used.

worked out great, instead of cutting the circuit board to disable the aux tracer, I read all the comments and someone said that removing a resistor was the same thing. I did the resistor route and it turned out great. Let me know if you have any questions, but the pictorial is surprisingly complete. I just got a 8' cable from radio shack (make sure it is stereo, not mono) and follow the directions.
