use your old OEM grips on your floor jack handles

i start it on with a screwdriver, then beat it on with a rubber mallet

FWIW, the rubber antenna's from Advance have a hard plastic base that is brittle, and they break every other month or so.

keep your receipt & package handy, and just keep swapping them out. they have like a 90 day warranty, and they always break prior...but you can't always find the receipt

Antenna Eliminator kit on Harley Davidson Street G - YouTube

Worked for me.
I saw that the other day and was actually thinking of doing that on the Ultra Limited..
I don't think the cable and connecter is just going to hang there..scary as hell if that gets wrap up in the wheel or belt! I guess you would just zip tie it up or better yet cable clamp it out of the way?.

2 Zip ties did the trick. You definitely lose some signal strength at times but I would bet its comparable to the other antenna solutions which all lose strength. For me, it was perfect. I rarely use the radio anyways, but its there if I need it and it was the cost of 2 zip ties.

I did a similar job. However, i ran my ant. along the left side behind the side plate and tie wrapped it along the frame. I redrilled the bracket and tapped it. you can't even see the ant with the seat off. radio actually works better...lol

I'm thinking the pump must be a Mity-Vac Silverline. Tho a bit harder, I drain from the bottom and use the Mity-Vac to fill from the top. Full oil change and less mess.
