Seat strap mod
For those of you that like the looks of your seat strap but think it's a pain in the ***, this mods for you!
Now unbolt that thing for the last time and drill out the rivets holding the straps to the strap brackets.
Go down to an upholstery shop or Joanne Fabrics and pick up some heavy duty snaps with the large
chrome button covers. The large snap buttons match the old rivet heads. Attach the chrome buttons and female parts of the snap to each end of the strap. Attach the male part of the snap to the strap brackets where the old rivets were. Bolt the strap brackets back on and there you go! Taking off your seat or putting on your backrest is a breeze! Just remember to tell any rider that the strap is just for looks and is non-functional. .....Bizarro
