Default Best 2 Into 1 Exhaust For 07 FLHTCU

I've decided on going with a2 into 1 exhaust for my 07 FLHTCU this winter. I'm looking for opinions from those of you that have experience with this type of exhaust system. Looks and performance are the main issues. I'm also doing a bolt on cam change. I already have a PCIII and K&N ac installed. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

D&D Fat Cats - Seems to be the leading system on this forum
ThunderHeaders perform well but they really tend to discolor quickly
V&H Pro Look good sound good but not one of the TOP on performance side

Supertrapp Supermeg is another good choice for a bagger. They tend to be more quiet than the others already mentioned, and they are tunable. Very good performing pipe.

I'm going to take a good look at all the options before I decide. Let me know what type cam and exhaust that you decide on. I do a lot of touring and having an exhaust that is to loud is an issue.
Thanks for the help!

The D&D FatCat makes great lowend torque and hold a high level pretty much all the way across the RPM range.

It's also available w/a quiet baffle.

As performance goes..... I'd choose either a FatCat or SuperTrapp SuperMeg.

Bassani has been around a long time... I remember XR75's w/Bassani pipes in the 74~75 time frame. SuperTrapp was around then too. I remember them on SL as well as XR series bikes.

I had my first D&D pipe in 1982 on a GS750.

Sorry... got off track. I have no personal experience with Bassani. I do with the D&D and also with the old WhiteBros E-Series, which is essentially the same as the SuperMeg now. THey are fine exhausts and the same is probably true for the Bassani...

I had the D & D Fatcat and swapped to the Cobra 2 into 1.The D & D seemed to add a little extra heat to the under side of my leg.The Cobra doesn't put out the extra heat (different routing of the rear pipe) and by the seat of the pants feel, it performs a little better. The sound is about the same loudness as the D & D with the quiet baffle and the finish is very good. After about 6 different exhaust systems, I believe I'm going to stick with the Cobra.
