This is what I got when I sent an email asking about the 98" kit:
The 98 inch kit is ***, the head work is ***, the cam set up is ***, and the
gasket kit is **, and I have been seeing more and more lifter failure and since
you are there not a bad idea to upgrade. lifter *** and the oil bypass increase
shim is **. This is less money that building a 95 to these types of numbers,
and even then the 95 is not going to make that tq at that low of rpm.
I blocked out the prices as I don't wanna post them publicly. I would either email or call HDWRENCH to find out any other info your wanting.. Seems to be a VERY nice guy.

If the Street Glide look is what you want, then buying an Ultra Classic would not be cheaper. It's a more expensive motorcycle to begin let alone the odds and ends you'd need to make an Ultra resemble a Street Glide. Now on the other hand if you prefer the versatility that the Ultra offers, then that's a different story. I bought an Ultra Classic (see pic), removed my Tourpack and opted for a Le Pera saddle. This dramatically changed the look and feel of the bike. In the long run, I prefer having the Ultra because I can always put everything back. With the SG you don't have that option unless you buy the additional parts.

Well, I ended up buying a SG, but only cause the UC did not come in a solid color....basically, if you buy a SG and plan on buying a detach tourpack, and adding cruise control, both of which I plan to do, then you're over the price of a UC..or at least up to it with a bunch of extra stuff. I can't wait to get my SG though, they said about 3 wks and it'll be in.

Congratulations on getting a Street Glide. I thought about getting a electra glide standard and changing it into a street looking bike. I quickly decided against it.
I wanted a street glide so I got one. It makes no sense to me to try to change a beautiful Ultra or any other glide into a street. I took a ride on my street and put in 300 miles on Monday. I could have gone alot more the bike is so comfortable. I like the look, I like the comfort, I like the handling. My opinion is to get what you really want. If it's an Ultra get and Ultra, if it's a street get one.
