IPOD works great...Only thing I would like to have is the IPOD ready radio that would keep it charged and allow functions through the radio. I just have to remember to turn it off when I stop.
I have the HA90 Road Tech MP3 player. While it isn't as near as full featured as the IPOD, it is desgined to replace the mounting braket on either side of your handlebar controls. Plus, it works off of the bike's battery, and it looks like it belongs there.
I've been wanting to hook one up, so this thread is great. I love playing CD's but on a long ride I get tired of hearing it over and over. What do I need to hook it up to the aux port?
I bought a 12 inch 3.5 mm cable from radio shack and velcro'd my I-Pod to my fairing just to the right of the speedometer. I traveled 5100 miles in 20 states and listened to it quite a lot. When I got back home I peeled off the velcro from the fairing and it did no damage at all. Bldr
