Best seat I've ever had is by Pro Pad. Gel padding and more.
Cyclepedic, SEAT-RKST-BK, Cyclepedic Pro Pad Seat, Harley Davidson Saddles, Pads
Axiom had the best price

I really like the feel of the Corbin seats. My girlfriend wanted to kick my *** for getting rid of the LePera I originally had on my SG.

I had problems with the stock seat and even tried having it modified by a local upholsterer that also rides but it still didn't work for me.

I picked up a police seat with the air suspension and found that it was great for my butt but my back couldn't take the position for very long. If it works for you then Mustang has a passenger seat that matches it. There is no commercially available backrest for the rider although some on this forum have jury rigged something that moves with the seat.

I ended up getting the Corbin dual tour. The fit and finish is great but it is hard and doesn't get any softer. The key is that either it or your butt needs to get broken in. When I put mine on I did an Iron Butt which probably isn't the best way to break in a seat but it worked for me. I find that my butt starts to get sore about the same time I need more gas but the magical thing is that the few minutes it takes for me to fill the gas tank is all I need for my butt to recover. While with my old seat it might take days.

After the Iron Butt ride my butt hurt just sitting on a bed and the only place it felt OK was on my bike. Strange but true.

I've run LePera seats on my bikes for years. They do make a gel seat for touring. They're resonably priced too. I'm going to order a new seat for my Road Glide this week from C&C. I went by their business when I was in SoCal and checked them out. Nicer than a Corbin for 1/2 the price! Go to their website. They have an awesome touring seat!

I have a Sundowner. I put 6000 on my 07 SG this past summer, and my butt and my backhad no problems with it.
Most importantly the wife likes it too.

Good luck and be safe.
