Default true dual headpipe question on 08 Ultra

I'm looking to do true duals on a 08 ultra I want to use a PCIII when avaliable and vance and hines dresser duals and rush or v&h mufflers. I read on the Power Commander instruction sheet for 07's that the o2 sensors are eliminated. Will the 08's be the same? Do I need to buy the dresser duals for a 07-08 that have the o2 sensor ports or can I get the head pipes for 95 to 06 without the o2 ports. The ones without the ports are about 40-50 bucks cheaper than the 07-08 head pipes. Thanks for the advice

Don't need o2 ports with a PCIII. Double warranty, decent price & pre-loaded map. Talk to Jamie @

What does double warranty mean? Will the 95-06 pipes fit the 96 motor? Thanks I will call Jamie

Fuelmoto doubles the PCIII warranty to 2 years. Different tranny bracket for the 96er.

I would buy the later-model pipes in case you want to move to closed-loop sometime in the future. You can either install the stock narrow-band sensors to plug the bunghole, or buy some plugs. While on the phone to Jamie, ask him about the performance hit you'll get by switching to true-duals, and ask about his new baffle kit for the Rush mufflers that use the stock head pipes. See the thread (Fuel Moto Experiments) describing in more detail, along with an impressive dyno chart. This is a very cheap means of obtaining excellent performance with a stock motor, slip-ons, AC, and PCIII. The kits should be available within one month.

Some of the reason for going to true duals is to get rid of the right pipe in front of my wifes foot. When I puttrue duals on my 99 ultraI didn't notice much difference. Does the 96 motor loose more than the 88 with td's? The looks are a plus also IMO. I do plan on getting the air cleaner and the PCIII with the map installed from Jamie at Fuel Moto
