RE: Toronto Visit
Wally Port Dover had around 100k people, not bikes. Usually 2-10k in bikes, depending on the time of year.Oct '06 was very cold and raining, BUffalo had the ice storm and is was a cold ridethat day. Only like 900 bikes.Have fun in the spring on the Gardner. Hell, have fun on the Gardber any time. Then there is the 401. HA!! HWY 20 to 6 to 3 is a nice ride. Dover is going to be packed this year being only 1 in June.

You'll love it here. Check out the bike show weekend of Dec. 6-9th if you have a chance. Great opportunity to see many people in the early stages of the winter blues.
Yes traffic in the city core sucks, but doesn't it in every big city?
Many really beautiful places to ride just outside of the city, great people, great food and nightlife. Crazy real estate market is out of control. Good luck on your migration to the Big Smoke.
Please feel free to PM me in the spring and maybe hook up for a ride.
In the meantime if you feel cold and miserable drop by Toronto HD on Front St. (close to beaches) and try to remind yourself that warmer weather is not that far away.
Cheers!

I'm planning on being there this coming June.
Riding in November and December is a real possibility. Last year three of us rode 70 kms on Christmas Day.

There will be another motorcycle showon January 4,5,6 out by the airport . The Supershow 08' is a huge event. It's an all day walk, so wear comfortable shoes.
