I'm covering mine with a breathable cover, but scored heated storage for a song in WI. LOTS of damn salt on the roads now, but waiting to store it. Fuel Moto will be getting in the PCIII I've been waiting for. Will store it after the work is done. Maybe if get one ride in if the roads clean off.

If it stays cold in the garage I don't think condensation should be a problem.

I've been winter storing my bikes in an unheated shed for years here in Vermont. I have never covered them. Here's a couple of things I do that I haven't seen mentioned in other threads on this site. I seal the air cleaner with a plastic bag and stuff rags in the ends of the mufflers to keep varmits out. I remove the bags and store them in the house. I also mist all the exterior metal with WD 40 after three or four days of storage in good dry weather. I have never had a problem with the paint finish or rubber goods due to mist over spray. A good wash/detailing in the spring gets the oil and dust off. It sounds like a nasty mess but it works great in preserving especially the chrome and it's not that difficult to clean up.

The best Wisconsin winter cover I've found is to go 1600 miles south for five months.
Works for me, and I really do feel bad for you guys and gals that are stuck in the cold. I just can't handle the cold anymore and have learned to love Texas.
Wisconsin is where the family is though, and will always go north in the summer.

Sorry that I have rambled...........................................

Go Packers.............................

My skooters sleep inthe gameroom.....If one was to get cold and lonely, it can ease down the hall into my bedroom.

A man's bike belongs in his house.....It's a RULE.

Dogs and womensleep outside.

Best cover I can think of is "THE SEAT OF YOUR PANTS ON THE SEAT"
I live in a cold weather climate and my bike has NEVER been in winter storage.
There have always (last 40 years) been enough good days during winter for riding.

But it's easy to talk the talk (biker and riding) and a bitch to actually walk the walk ( in this case live the acclaimed lifestyle).

Too many rubs nowadays!
I rode this pm to work and just got home approx 15 miles each way.

Mine is on the jack in the air, in the unheated shed (concrete floor ), battery out & on a tender in the basement.......fluids good, complete wash & wax & chrome detail, cylinder fogged (thru spark plug holes ) & breathable cover. I can't think of anything else. Got my cover @ Fleet Farm......FYI.

I'm in New Hampshire
The bike is in a unheated garage with aconcrete floor, fuilds arefine, stabilizer in the gas.
Battery is onthe charger.
I have been using a cover I picked up at Wal Mart a few years ago. Never a problem with scratches orcondensation, no rust in the spring.
I don't cover my bike in the summer because I'm on it more than I'm off it.
