Never had any problems, nor have any of my friends. From what I've heard there are many thefts that take place, but mainly highly customized bikes and classics ie* pans, and knucleheads.

Been there 4 times riding all the way in to stay at the Chip.

Use common sense.

Park in lighted populated areas, lock it, arm the security system.

Never been messed with at the Chip.

Been there four times and never had a problem with bike theft. We did catch some kids stealing t-shirts and stuff out of tents one year at the Glencoe campground. A lot of bikes that have builders titles from various states get confiscated.

Just use common sense, I locked the King up, parked in lit areas, kept my insurance card in my wallet. Go and have a good time, it is something to see at least once, twice, for some it is a yearly event.
