Good info...asked the dealer about it a few months back and he response was "they all do it sometimes, probably got wet when you washed it."

Back in June '07we wereon vacation fromour Arkansas/Texas border town, when pulled into Farmington,N.M. HD Dealership right at 6m quitting time. My wife actually called them on my cell as we were going down the road just a few minutes before6mto see if they would stay open long enough for us to buy a T shirtso we would have one froma NM HD dealer. Once there, my wife mentioned the "blinkingneutral light" onour '07 Ultra. Actually, the light hadjust stayed onall the time for the past 100 miles or so. The dealership not only stayed open for us to buy shirts, they also fixed the switch on the Ultra. Super job, cost me nothing (except for the shirts, etc) and we were on our way to Durango in a matter of an hour or so. All thiswas done after normal hours withmanagers, sales people, and mechanics staying past their quitting time to see that we had what we wanted and our bike was fixed and ready to ride. Greatjob, fantastic dealership. That was about 8000 miles ago, everything seems to still be functioning OK since that repair. PACO

update to original post:

riding last night and this morning the light did not come on (except when it should). as i said, it was very foggy and freezing, so for now i'm assuming it was a moisture issue! btw, it was built after the recall.

thanks for input, rem

Mine does it in 2nd gear when I first got it and in second and fifth now.
I will attempt the cleaning and connection tightening.
Thanks
