I asked about the blemished bars,which would have been fine for me, and of coarse they did not have any at that time... could be a marketing ploy!!!

Sorry 16 Inch flyin ape. With1.25 you can use stock risers if you go with the 1.50 you have to change them out..
I.ve had them for about 7 months and love um....

 

Thanks for posting the pic's, those bars look sweet - I am going with 16's as well. I plan to do the install myself - any tips on cable lengths and where you got them..?

well - after waffling back and forth 15 times on what bars to get I went ahead and ordered 16" flyin apes - should be here later next week. I am pretty excited to see how they look and feel. Thanks for the pics and feedback on the bars. I will post some pics when done and I am sure I will havea few Q's since I am doing the install. The dealer wanted 700+ for labor on install and I need to learn to work on the bike anyway.
