I'm turning my EG Classic into a Classic Glide. I don't want it to be a street glide, but it's going to be much cleaner and more modern than it is now.

Wheels are becoming a difficult decision. I don't want radical chrome wheels. Maybe a modern 18" spoke design would be what I'm looking for.

Does anyone havepictures of 40-spoke radial wheels on a touring bike? If you're running AWW wheels, are you finding any trouble with maintenance or running tubeless?

Here's a picture from AWW. No right side brake rotor on the deuce, obviously. The teardrop rotor made by AWWhas 20 "spokes" on it. I think that could look pretty cool with the 40-spoke radial wheels. ???

 

"LEGEND" 24 spoke forged billet chrome (radiused edge). eBay brand new @ $1300 a pair with chrome hubs & stems, 16, 18 or 21. Tell me that wouldn't give ya a classic look with no tubes/spokes to maintain. Find a better deal!
