And if so, do they work?

Just one question. In the picture it looks like they tie or velcro closed at the wrist. How do you tie the second one?

Never tried them...looks like they'd help keep your hands warm but they also look like they'd be dangerous - Speaking from a safety standpoint I can tell you I wouldn't want my hands stuck inside those while on a motorcycle.

Guys use a similar product for snowmobiling or on the ATV going across the lake on the ice (I live in MN). They work, and offer enough room to function your controls. If you are not familiar with your controls, you may be sounding your horn instead of a left signal...

I think the tie/ velcro end secures to the bars and your hands just slide in. I was not to sold on the safety either which is why the post....

Motorcycle cops here use them, must be ok. IMHO if its THAT cold to need them, I would be more concerned about frost/ice on the road.I hit the road at 2:40 AM, yes, 0245 hrs., and most mornings it is now in the mid 30s. SOON I'll be driving my truck the 16 miles to work.

I have blowed more on a Saturday nite bar trip, might be worth checking out. And, even thou I rode this morning temps in the low 30,s my hands didn't get that cold, I have a pair of ski gloves that work. Now granted didn't go but about 50 miles. Also I took it slower than norm because of possible ice patches.

My brother tried them. He had to cut holes in them for his mirrors and had trouble getting his hand back in them while going down the road because theyflop around in the wind.

I can probably get you a good deal on them if you want to try them out.

I rode last year with temps in the mid 20's but it was only about 13 miles to work. I am now 52 miles since I transfered so I drive my company truck but that means I do not ride every day. SoI am determined to ride on the weekends but that will be for more than 13 miles and I will need more protection on the old hands.I have goodgear for cold riding except gloves that actually work and I do not want heated gloves. I was just real curious about these....
