The BUB 7 true duals are not even true duals............they have a crossover pipe.

I like how the BUB 7 2-1 looks, and you get rid of the black(that turns purple) tip on the muffler.

Stick with the Rineharts if you want True duals...........just figure out how to fix the purple tips because Bub can't.

They have 3 versions a true dual, one with a crossover, and a 2-1.

My Bad...........I had only seen the 2-1 and the 2-2 crossover in the magazines.

I would take the Bub 7 true duals over the Rineharts just to get rid of the purple tips of the Rineharts.

I went thru 2 sets of purple tips on my Rineharts in the 8 months I had them installed.........both times Bub told me they had the problem fixed.

They describe Rinharts as "Nascar" sound, don't really know what that means but I prefer the low rumble of a Bub 7.

I had Rinharts on my 05 RG and never had a problem with the tips turning purple and now on my 08 RG I went with BUB7 with crossover so far I like this set up.

I just bought Bub 7s with Crossover. I have yet to put them on. I debated between the two (True dual vs true dual w x-over). Low-end horsepower won over looks. I think these V-Twins love the back-pressure that the crossover pipe gives them, especially with a larger pipe.

How do you like your pipes? How do they sound? Does the x-over pipe spread alot of heat?

What kind of tuner are you running (if any) and which map is installed on it? Are you happy with the low end torque and power?

They saythey have that Nascar sound because the same guy that builds them also builds headers for the Nascar boys.
I have a set of RineHart true duals on my07 RCand they sound great (very deep sound and border on too loud at times, believe me when you fire it up no will mistake it for anything but a GENUINE Harley);my Harley dealer recomended them to me and I think they where right on.

smart. and I agree. I decided today to get the Rinehart TD's. I just dont think that there is enough compelling info yet on a too new set of pipes. Thanks to all that responded. Very helpful
