Default vance & hines fuel pak

I have a 02 road king and the plan was a set of porker slip on's, big sucker AC, then the V&H fuel pak. . The question I have is there any power loss with this type of setup? Talking to the dealer the stage 1 download isnt the way to go with this set up, they like only SE, and the SERT is more money, and I'm not sure the bang for the buck is there.
Thanks

The only drawback to the V&H FuelPack is if you plan to later go beyond Stage One. If all you are doing is intake and pipes, it's a solid choice.

I am running a FP with true duals and Rush. It is not perfect by any means but for the money I don't think you could go wrong. Like blackisfast said if you are not going to upgrade you engine it will do you just fine. Bryan

Take a look at a DFO. I have one and like it. I have installed and tuned several for friends. Everyone is happy with them. They are simple to install, simple to tune, and cost less than some of the others.

If you happen to be LEO or military, they will sell you one for 99 bucks.

The FP is ok. I just put the A/C, mufflers and FP on my 07 EGC. Loaded it up with synthectics all the way around, and I swear that thing is running hotter than ever. Before the FP, no problems... Had one on my 07 SB and it seemed to perform pretty good with just a slight decrease in mpg. You will be limited with any further mods to the scooter....

Question. I know the 07's 08's are lean and with a/c, pipes, and Harley Stage1 download you are lean at idle & cruise, but under throttle seems quite good, not really lean.

So, since FuelPak still leaves you lean at idle and richens up under throttle, maybe similar to Harley download, is the only benefit of FuelPak the richening up for cruise?
