skratch,
Go to www.sorgys.com he's just a small dealer, but a great guy to deal with, really reasonable with shipping costsand like I said, he's given me the best prices on cables so far. He has all the standard catalogues online, find what you are looking for and then email or call him for his price.

I agree with Sam's very knowledgable advice;some like the 508s and some prefer the 518s depending on height and arm length. You can give the folks at Chubbys a call or send them a email tosee which barwould work best for you, it won't cost you a dime.
Good luck with your decision.

I will diffenetly try out the website,Thanks Skratch,I think it would be a good time to go to braided cables,I took my lights off the bars so won't worry about running them through the bars.I did'nt like the lights on the bar look.Put a light bar on the front.like the standard RK's have.I have narrowed it down to 2 or 3 bars now,Thanks for all the help

RE: RK custom & beach bars
I put Wild One's WO550 Beach Bar on my RK Custom a couple of years ago. Very different (improved)than the stock bars which are not really beach bars. I haven't had any issues with hitting the tank or gas cap or any vibration concerns. You do have to keep your knees out when making tight turns. I use a Corbin classic solo seat and backrest which puts the rider further back from the tank, and I don't have any problems with the bar pullback; however, I've got pretty long arms. I really like the quality that Wild One provides - got them on three bikes.

I switched out the beach bars that were on my RKC for a couple of years and went with the Wild 1's 518's...I sure liked the looks of the BB's but the new ones are sure abit more comfortable...and they're good looking in their own right.
Also,no more shooting pain in the middle of my back with these new bars.
Ride safe.
