That's exactly why I wentwith theKhromewerks bagger bars instead of Wild Ones, Khromewerks 300505's are only $63! They are 1" taller and 2"farther back.Below is apic of them on my 08 and then another pic of them compared to the stock bars. The stock barsare at the bottom

Your bike looks nice !!Iam wondering (again) it looks like you ran the cluch cable on the outside instead of going through the fareing?? I have to say that Iam pretty good at mechanical stuff (not bragging just done it all my life) and being that this is my first H-D and have a 5 year warentee on the bike, In your opinion do you think its pretty forward with no mod. and can itbe done easy. the reason Iam saying this is I don't want HD down the road to say I scewed up by doing this or that know what I mean??

I originally used the stock clutch cable and routed it down the handlebar and through where the handlebars go into the fairing cap. I have since put on the correct cable and routed it properly. It is a straight forward job and you can do it no problem. If you need help, just holler on here

Not to hijack this thread, but dawg, any quick info on how to modify grips to work with the throttle by wire setup?

Take the stock grip and cut the rubber off and use what's left as a sleeve just like they used to do with the grips. I bought a set of universal ISO grips that has one that has a larger inside diameter for a sleeve. All you would need to do is get a grip set that uses the same sleeve concept.

Did the Khromewerks bar come already set up for the '08's fly-by-wire throttle or did you modify? Thanks.

I modified it by cutting the necessary notches in the end of the bar and the hole in between the knurls for the exit of the wires. Somewhere here on the forum I did a complete write-up with pics on how I did it.
