None of the painters I've used go with Harley paints. It's over priced through the dealers. Believe it or not, House of Kolor is cheaper and can match just about anything.

I searched for HD Black Pearl to shoot a fender. One pint - $110! No thanks.

Instead, I contacted a local PPG paint retailer. They know exactly what I needed, and it only cost $37 per pint. The fender looks factory and matches the other tins exactly.

Second the hate shooting harley paint. And the Cobalt blue is not a tri stage, just basecoat/clearcoat. I spray PPG and its much better than the harley paint.

How can I get some custom colors Harley used in 2006. Specifiaclly, I would like to get some "Dragon Fly" paint. Where do you get it? Also,is there a color that would tend to be blue and change to the gold and green rather than be predominately green with change to blue and gold?

Harley doesn't make paint, they just re-label PPG made paint so if you like throwing good money around for nothing send it to me and I'll get you a quart of properly mixed PPG at harley prices, but if you were smart you'd just go to a good local shop that uses a PPG mixing bank and have them do your job cheaper.
