yup- remove what accessories you can (seats, backrests, chrome, etc) and sell them here on fleabay.

$14K for your RK is a great trade in price.

Doesn't sound to bad for a dealer trade-in. As said above your never going to get much for the accessories if you sell them with the bike. It's always tough to take the hit but it seems at least fair. They aren't going to make much off of your RK.

Back in May I traded a 2002 Road King with $10K in access, HD Tribal paint, etc, and 20,000 miles and got $12k for it on a 07 Road Glide where i paid MSRP as well. I'd say your deal is good enough to go for it.
Looking back, Ishould have removed some of the accessories and sold them here. Depends on how fast you want to get the deal done.

So what color are you getting?

Save your money and keep what you have, unless you are dying for a new bike. Sounds like a lot of money wasted if you really have that much in extras. What did you pay for your bike new maybe 16 or 17,000 so you have over 30 grand and you are going to trade it for less than 1/2. NOTTA a chance I would go for it. If you have the hankering to spend money throw a Jims 120 (or other big motor/build)into your bike and have something special.

You could spend $1500-$2000 on Road Glide Fairing / Stereo / Paint and be way ahead of the game...

Sounds like a good deal to me.
It's not easy selling used bikes this time of year.I would go for it.
Baggers are selling well in my area. You might not get the bike you want if you wait until spring or until you sell your old bike.

Look over your add ons closely as probably most of them will fit on the Road Glide. I was able toremove a bunch of stuff off my softail and put it back on my new glide.

Signed the papers this afternoon, color is black with abs. Bike will be delivered tomorrow.

Tried selling the bike for $16,500 over the summer and never had a call. All other dealers were offering me 11-12 on trade not sure why this dealer gave me the $14,000 I was looking for.
