Default 105th Anniversry Paint Set

One day left on Ebay for this set. Not one bid in 8 days. There was also a blue '08 Ultra Paint set that expired a couple of day ago with no bids on it. I have routinely seen '07 and earlier Ultra Classic paint sets go for $3500 on Ebay. I am guessing that with the 6 gallon tank prohibiting fitting these to older bikes there is no market for them right now. Unlikely that it will sell on Ebay.

They are all packed up and in my garage. My choice now is to sell individual parts which I have had a lot of interest in or just store them for some future use whatever that would be (sell after there are more '08 or later bikes in the market or put back on this bikewhen it is time to sell it ). Seems a shame to break up the set with numbered fuel console badge.

I have to ask if you have tried to sell them to the dealer. I had an unscheduled dismount, due to a distracted cager, on my 100'th anniversary Ultra and it has taken forever to get the parts in. They were able to find a couple of the items in dealer stocks and thatsaved some time. Just a thought to see if the MoCo might be interested in them for replacement parts.

These are restricted sale parts....meaning that ifa VIN does not indicate an 105th anniversay bike....MOCO will not sell the parts to the dealers......

You having the parts could expedite the delivery of those parts to someone in need. They normally would have to wait a long period of time for special paint like this if theirs was damaged or in need of replacement.

A lot of people will not want to impersonate a 105th bike and therefore will not be interested in the set. You are right about the limitations on the 6 gallon tank to 08 and later. Again, your price is high for what you have.

If you have that much money to buy an Anniversary bike and take the metal off and have parts paintedjust take theAnniversary metal in and have them painted to match what you are going for then you will have a set of extras since your not getting your price why not

Fast, I still say store them and sooner or later you will see someone needing an anniversary part that went down, scratched, etc. You will make the money back but you will have to hang onto it for a bit and split things up.

I already had the new painted parts before I bought the '08 except for the fuel tank which I bought and painted. They are now installed on the bike.
