RE: SEA FOAM - questions and answers and technical datasheets
I for one am sold on seamfoam and love it. I put it in my smokey barely running carbonated up 64 Cadillac, and it saved me a lot of time and money. It cleaned out the entire system and the car runs like new. The only people that are having negative things to say, are ones that have never tried it and/or just trying to get their post count up.

I love this stuff. We bought an old kawasaki vulcan for my wife that had been sitting for almost3 years in someones garage. The carbs were pretty gummed up. We put Seafoam in the tank (mixed with gas according to the directions), disconnected the spark plugs, and cranked the bike over several times until I could smell the seafoam in the exhaust. We then let the bike sit overnight. Next day I rode off the rest of the tank. Bike runs like new! This product works as advertised. It is not an additive that makes your oil "slicker" or boosts your octane. It is not a "performance enhancer", it is a cleaner, and it works great. This was developed for marine outboard engines that sit for long periods between seasons and regularly have problems with gummed up carbs or fuel systems. I use this in my RoadKing fuel tank about every 3 months and have never had a problem.

I worked in a parts store for almost 10 years and that stuff and many more like itwhere designed to part you from your money.
Save your money
Save your money
Then why does your oil go from yellow to pitch black in a matter of a few miles??? I say it works.

Only use it in your fuel tank to keep the fuel from deteriorating, do not use it in the oils. Never use ANY oil additive like Slick50, Lucas, Duralube they are all snake oils. Your oil has ALL the stuff the engine needs, adding that crap is just giving those companies money. The big 2 DuraLube and Slick50 were brought up on fraud charges years ago, and they were made to pay substantial penalties for false advertizing and bilking the public of money. This is why their info-mercials that had the engine running after they poored sand in it and cut the coolant hoses were suddenly yanked from the air. It is all snake oil
