Default RE: Compensator maintenance comes loose ?

On my 96 EVO. it wasn't loose, but I did crack and ultimately break the chain adjuster shoe using the wedge block to take the dang thing off. An impact driver would not do it. 24" breaker bar and more than I thought I had. This is why I had to take it off.
