Well, ordered the tools to do my cam bearings & tensioners, should have them by the end of the week. Probably take a few more weeks to find the time to do the work. Missed out on a couple of nice days since I tore it down.

Good for you, Toby. Hope your tensioners look better than mine did.

This is what mine looked like. The left one was on the primary chain. The right one with the crack was on the secondary chain, hidden behind the cam plate. Did my job just in time!

Where is the best place to buy the pushrods? Can I order them and if so from who?

Bought mine with my cams from M&M Cycle, but most vendors sell them -- J&P Cycle, Phat Performance, etc. Pretty common items. HD also sells them as a kit with the shorter pushrod covers which makes installation much easier.

I got SE ez installs for 142.00 with the tubes from the dealer. From what I have found, not all adjustables can be installed with the rocker box's on, correct me if I'm wrong. I ordered the tools from Georges Garage on Monday night, haven't been able to track them yet so this weekend won't be the weekend I get it back together.

Got home tonight from working on the cars and my parts are here. Now ifthe other cars were not tore down at the shop, I would put my bike back together. But since I have my daughters Bravada, sons Grand Prix & my Grand Am all tore down, I will have to go et them done. So with any luck, next Saturday I am going to get it done. With my luck something else will pop up.

If you can put three cars back together, your bike will be no problem at all!

Tater, you one lucky guy. Don't look like you had many more miles before those tensioners eating your engine.
