Default rush mufflers

I bought some used rush mufflers with 1 3/4 baffles. My cycle shack were a little loud. These have replaceable end caps. I could only find square, up slash and down slash in the catalogue. These were louder than my cs's. Does anyone have these and are they loud? Also has anyone seen the ones with tips you can change?

I just checked the rush site and they do sell a tip compatible muffler. They also sell baffle kits. Just wandering if I shoud try it or cut my losses.

I like the 2 inch baffles myself. I see that you have 1.75 the next size down is only .25 smaller. I don't think it will make much difference.

I heard one pass the other day that was considerably quieter than mine with rushes. May have had the 1.5 baffles. They say the 1.5s are about the same as stock when cruising.

Loud is a very relative term around her. I like my 1.75 Rush pipes a lot. I think it s a good combo between loud enough and still comfortable for long trips and listening to the tunes. May want to try the new 1.5 baffles.

Thanks I went to their website and they had sound bites. I couldn't tell a lot of difference. I am going to pull the baffles and see if they are burnt out. Everyone says they are a lot quiter than mine seem to be, and I know that is in the ear of the beholder.
