what is the appeal of apes? why do you like them?
Are you seriously asking this? First, they look cool as he!!. Second, they really are comfortable. My 18" place my hands right at my shoulders. I can ride forever without issues. Next time you are riding, stick your hands up in front of you to a comfortable position. My money says they will not be on the bars you have now. Think about when you drive the car, or truck. Most people have a tendancy to rest their arms on top of the steering wheel, or even at "10 and 2". On your bikes bars, your hands are prbably down, with arms down at "8 and 4". Not the most comfortable position.

After all that, the fact is, unless you try them, you just don't know.

CWilks, like I have said "elsewhere", the apes look great.

I've never ridden a bike with them on it. How is the handling in comparison to a stock bike's bars? I have no clue so asking... Is cornering, etc radically effected? Anyone find them uncomfortable? It sounds like so far those who've had them say they're improved in comfort?

I'm not sure I'd ever be so bold as to go with them on my Geezer Glide, but i'm curious about them if you don't mind sharing how the feel is, etc
