Default Help - How to remove the seat on a SG

I noticed the belt prevents one from easily removing the seat. Do I have to remove the bags and unbolt the belt from the frame before I can remove the seat? Thanks.

Remove 1 bag..
Remove bolt on that same side to remove strap.

Remove seat.

if your belt is loose, you can work the seat out from under it but for the few minutes it will take to take that belt off, that's probably best, then throw the belt away!

Yup, Then take the strap and put it in the box with all your other "take-off's".

Depending on what state you are in, that belt may be required by law!! I'd think twice before tossing it.

Texas I beleive is one of those states that require the belt IF you are carring a passenger. Of course if you are carring a passenger no one is gonna see if you have the belt or not. I supposed if a Trooper wanted to make a point during a stop they could cause an issue. Outside of the passenger thing I don't think there isa requirement for the belt. Maybe a LEO can step in and answer.
