Default K & N drip again...

Oil level is slightly lower than normal and I am still getting Blow-By. Everytime I search for a solution there are 10 different remedies. The way i see it, I need to somehow vent the oil back into the intake or vent it into a breather/filter, like the old Evo's i had were rigged.

I didn't install the K & N backplate, so, my question is where do i start? Any and all recomendations appreciated.

What I did was to tap the holes that come from the breathers down into the intake and put a set screw in it with red locktite to plug the holes. Then I drilled and tapped some holes in the shafts where the breather bolts go and inserted a 1/'8 male NPT to 1/4" barbed fitting and ran lines from each side down to a tee. From there I ran a line down to under the bike and you can hang a breather filter from the end of the line.

Route the blow to the ground. Harley only puts that cr@p back in the air cleaner because the EPA makes them. You own a Harley they all leak out of the air cleaner, if you own one that doesn't;it will just wait.

I sold my K&N and bought a Ness Big Sucker. Problem solved.

I took the stock rubber hoses, poked holes in the rubber venturi at about 10 and 2 o'clock, and used little zip-ties to hold the hoses out in front of the venturi. They kind of point up on the ends, toward the top of the filter. I haven't had any problems since I did that.

Thanks dawg and the others. I expect some leakage, but no where near what I have been getting. I'm gonna pull the cover this evening and modify it so it blows to the ground, like my earlier bikes did. Thanks agin, you guys Rock!

I use the stock air cleaner assembly with a K&N filter on my bike. Works great without the mess.
