Has anyone installed these on a 2008 StreetGlide? It seems like they should fit - but when I look up the numbers in the Harley catalog - they mention 92-'07 Electra, Tour and Road Glide only..

I have the second one on my 08 Ultra. Fits and works fine. Street glide should have the same fuel door as an Ultra.

Bought a blank barrel key for $1 and keep it in the tool bag. No more problem.

My E-Glide has the push button anyways as it is, so I guess I'm glad I've got it now after reading this, lol.

I also have the lockable push button one, works well, just have to take the gloves off to open it, I think if it had 2 of the spring clips it might be better. BUt i have also found that the barrel key from my gun safe opens the tank flaps as well.

I have put one in my '08 Ultra. Only issue is that the spring won't fit.
It usually works fine butis sometimes difficult as the lid won't popopen.

Any barrel key will open up the gas door. If you want a different look you could put a different dash on. Here's a picture of one we are doing now. It is held on the front by a pop-up gas cap and the rear has a little bracket. Real easy install and really changes the look of the bike.
