I'm just messin witcha. The Ultra is the mackdaddy of the HD fleet, but before I'd take a bath on your RK, I'd do as others have suggested, that being, little by little fix'er up the way you want it or at least trade for an '07 Ultra.

"i dont have a lot of money, actually no money at all."

"after having a 2007 i am really cautious on buying a 2007 or 2008 model anymore"
I suspect the second statement is tied to the first one, especially after saying, "i love my 2007 road king classic"

actually the king is paid for. what i mean by that comment is that i dont have any extra money to put down or towards another bike. therefore an even trade would have to be done. to look at another 2007
and have to add all the stuff i had to add to this one. fuel pack, ids, air cleaner. duel exhaust and mufflers...
that would just add to the cost of another 2007.

2 other companies come to mind

Deadcenter fairing and dragonfly. I know Deadcenter is a forum Sponsor. I believe their link is to the right of the screne. I believe both can have cutouts made for the install of guages. Both will run you about $2300-2500 bucks color match painted with stereo installed.

I love my Road King and have made it my own. I,m considering the fairing route also when funds are availible. As for a tourpak. Well not my cup of tea and would be in the way of my attachable luggage when we make those long week long trips.

good luck

Just about all the aftermarket fairings with Sound Systens & Color Matched run a bit over $2,000.00

Friend of mine put on a DRANGONFLY CYCLE CONCEPT FAIRING on his RKC while attending the Hollister Rally last July and it's AWESOME there 250W System and those 6"X9" speakers sound great and I can even here his Tunes on the Fwy (80 MPH+).. There color match is Dead On... and there's little room to install a few gauges if ya really wanted to they had a RK with there color matched fairing & Dakota Digital Gauges installed and WOW AWESOME
http://www.dragonflycycleconcepts.com/index.htm

This is one of the BEST Aftermarket Fairing I have seen & there are a bunch of aftermarket fairings on the market now...
