Default Fuel Pak

I have an 08 ULTRAand want to add the SEAC and SE performance slip on's # 64903-99. I know I need to add a fuel management device and am leaning towards the Fuel Pak since that is all I am going to modify the bike. My question is, will that devise make the bike run somewhat richer to reduce the temperature and if so how much will I lose in gas milege?

In my opinion, the PowerCommander is a much better fuel management system... However, I have never worked directly with the FuelPak myself, this is just via word of mouth. (Fellow Techs)

If the FuelPak is anything like the Techlusion, PC, then you should be able to control how much fuel is delivered, and when it's delivered, giving you total control over whether your bike runs lean or rich, as well as have better accel or cruise.

Again, I love the PC, and the free downloadable program and presets on their website are a good start for tuning, cuts dyno time in half if you know what you're doing.

FUELPAK - Works!!! As long as you're not going to do any more Engine Mods then the stage 1 - I have used and installed them on a few Putts around here and everyone is happy with the FuelPak and V&H support forks are great people to deal with...

Is the fuel pack as efective as having your bike dyno tuned ?

I'm a big fan of the FuelPak - I had one for a year on my '07 Road King with a similar setup as you describe. My fuel mileage did not change, and the enriched mixture helped the engine to run a little cooler. I think it's a great value and high quality product. I will most likely use one on my '08 Road Glide once it's broken in and I assemble the other components.

Have put fuel pack on 07 sg with samson pipes. So far so good, but have only had the fuel pack on for about 500 miles.

I installed the BS Duals, Fuel Pak, & Ness BS on a '07 RKC and all seems to work fine. Little more pep and a lot cooler. Sometimes I have a decel pop but not that often - it depends on how hi the r's are when I down shift. Everything was pretty easy to install - did it myself and bought a J&S jack with the money I saved plus had a bunch of cash left over for some chrome.
