Default Too much Deep Throat Exhaust

Now that I got your attention I have a question.

I just had a set of 2" Rush exhaust put on my 07 Ultra that has had a Sert and Stage1 installed.
I may be too loud and deep for my satisfaction. The bike was just Dyno'd yesterday. Can I go back to my stack exhaust
without causing any problems or having or re-dyno the bike? I thought as long as I keep 2" or under I am OK is that right?

Thanks in advance.

Did you consider installing a 1.5" baffle? I just installed the Rush 1.5" and nothing else and think the sound is great.
No deep throat here . . . .unfortunately.

Yes But,

I had a buddy that had 2" Rush on his new 08 Ulltra. He decided to do some major rebeuilding and used something else.

I bought these for 200.00. I think it issounds too loud for me when I am riding 2 up with the wife. I will try it tomorrow if the weather holds for a few hours.

I thought I could just change back to the stock mufflers. I don't want to have another dyno if possible. But of course I don't want to screw up my bike either.

I would say on the one hand that you'd be okay to make the swap-back. But the flow characteristics are some different and it won't be as good as it is now.

When I put my 2" Rush mufflers on I initially thought they were going to be too loud too. But I've since gotten over that fear. They're perfect.

You can change the baffles out for 40 bucks. Just have your dealer order you a set of the 1.5 and install them in about 5 minutes.
