Heck, I think it is a great idea. I was going to do the same thing this winter, before I decided to mess with the engine. You will loose space in the bags, but I seldom get time to take a road trip, and when I would, I could throw everything in a T bag. Having the apes I have, bag speakers and lower speaker are my only option... or at least the only one I like. I really like the way they look in the lower fairings.

Whoa. I've been doing Audio for years and years, and for simple fiberglass brackets, that guy is friggin' ripping people off!
I can make simple brakets like that by glassing, for way less.
If you want something that custom, go to a car audio place, they'll do it for way cheaper.
