I will do that.
It does move a lot of air. It draws air in then forces it across the fins.
I am sure When sitting waiting for 50 to 100 other bike to roll out it will transfer some of that heat to me. But when its that hot out it won't madder. Thing is to get air moving across fins and it does that. I may order one for my Fatboy also.
like I said I do not like the horn that comes with so I will mount stock horn some were not that big a job.

I had this fan, actually both LeNale fans installed on my 05 Road glide. My unscientific testing indicated that the oil cooler fan was worth about 30 degrees, I've been told it should be worth 50 degrees. Testing was unscientific because I used a Harley oil thermometer. I unfortunately find myself in a lot of stop and go traffic commuting to/from work, so any help in the oil temperature department was welcome.

I now have an 08 SE Ultra and again I installed both fans. I have not done any real testing because the weather has not cooperated yet, but if anyone would like me to try something specific, let me know.

I agree they are way overpriced, I expect with a fair profit, they should be in the $150-$180 range. The connect either directly to the accessory circuit under the seat, or rig your own method. I purchased mine from Annapolis HD. They also include a template that is used to trim the oil cooler mounting plate (it will move the oil cooler closer to the frame) to avoid the fender smacking the fan. I did fully compress the front end to ensure clearance.

Another interesting discovery I had was HD connected by heated seat to the accessory plug. Everything I read and the manual said there are two 12v connectors under the seat. It turns out they kind of hid the one you are supposed to use for the heated seat so I could not see it at all and I had to remove the battery to find it. So now the Fan operates off the switched circuit and seat off the correct one.

I agree the oil cooler one is out of line may make my own or keep shopping around.
The Air fan was ok at 219 and seems to fit like I wanted to so I ok with the price.
This summerI will test the heck out of it. I may even pull it off and try it on my FB also.

Update
as I said I did not think to highly of the horn. I have put about 500 miles on it still snowing here
While I have not gotten around to putting the factory HD horn back on I do not have to worry about the horn that came with it. The thin bracket that came with it cracked in twotoday.
I like the way it works but still not warm enought to test under real hot conditions.
