Default Detachable tour pak on Street Glide

On the Street Glide will the docking hardware HD number 53804-06 fit? Does the docking go trough the two holes in the filler panels? Why I ask is I just bought a 07 street glide fender for my 05 ultra and want to know if my docking hardware will fit.

Yes, the quick detach mounting hardware fits through the 2 antenna holes in the Street Glide fascia. See pic below;

Yes that is the kit you need. #53804-06 $54.95 from Harley Davidson. Check the docking hardware fitment matrix.

Mopar: You should also buy the grommets that fit inside the SG facia holes to protect the edges of the facia; HD part no. 59778-06. This is the same part that is OEM on the SG's left side to accommodate the AM/FM antenna.

Yes; that's the correct hardware part no. for mounting the two-up detachable rack. The rack is 53276-04.

That street glide rear panel is sweet! I might just change over to it in a year or so, I have the chrome one right now, but love the way that panel looks and the way the docking arms go though it, SWEET! Hey Lee let me know how they work out

Here you go, I did this write up on installing it without drilling into the fender;

As infrequently as I use the King TP, I remove the chrome brackets at the rear and plug the holes. Since I also have the backrest/solo detachable mounting hardware on the bike, I mounted the chrome brackets outside the black bracket to permit easy (at relatively easy) removal/install--about a 10-15 minute job.
