Yes, the bike is 100% stock at the moment.....It has 600 miles on it, so she's had time to learn and establish a baseline.
The reason I installed the PCIII before any other mods was to have that stock baseline from the get-go. At this point I have a stock machine with 02 sensors eliminated. That fact and the map Jamie supply is certain to richen her up and cool her down some. I plan for Rinehart true duals and the K n N filter kit next month(this months budget is shot)

Things really improved when I finished the Stage 1 with duals, muffs, and AC.
Let us know how things go after you get yours finished.
Good job with the PCIII install and the posted directions. I'm sure it will help others install theirs.
BTW, I started a thread called "Killed my PCIII today." Search for it if you want. It details how I screwed up when I tried to upgrade the firmware.

Thanks,
Yeah,I had already seen the thread....That's the thread I misquoted about using 9 volt battery to upgrade....
Well, the road test to work last night, then the looooong detour trip home this morning revealed a great improvement!
Cold start this morning was a dream....Bike started much quicker and then settled downto slow idle almost instantly. Pulling away with cold engine was much different than before PCIII mod. The enginedoesn'trace when cold, I could drive off like normal as if the engine was at running temps.
Bike stayed really cool even after 40 miles and sitting at several stop lights.....I'm very pleased already and looking forward to intake and exhaust mods.
