Scraping my SG in the turns

RE: Scraping my SG in the turns
One way to make a vast improvement in the available lean angle for any given situation is to get rid of the crappy HD stock suspension and get something that doesn't collapse. Want your HD to handle like a sport bike? (or as close as it will ever get)...spend the money and get Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 fork cartridges installed, the Italian made Bitubo 3 way adjustable rear shocks they sell, and raise the bike back up an inch. The SG is lowered an inch from the factory, so you've got two strikes agaist handling well from the get-go.

RE: Scraping my SG in the turns
Go one better by real inverted front forks and our Motorcyclemetal/Penske shocks. For real suspension. One member had his shocks delivered to him a few weeks ago but rain, a miss by a hurricane and a death in the family prohibited him from using the bike. It has been ready to go.

Has anyone modified or raised their jiffy stand and/or footboard supports on a Street Glide? I don’t mind the slow speed grinds, but when I’m in a high speed (60+ mph) sweeper and I lean over far enough to grind things it gets a bit unnerving…[sm=scared09.gif]

I want to see a picture of your tires, front & rear.
