That's gonna be one Bad Azz Bagger Dalton
Only wish I could be around to see ya scortch a couple of crotch rockets
Man I can see the look in their eyes when ya pull the front end up and whiz past em
Yep, I am sure a few jaws will drop, and all the time I will have a huge sh*t eatin grin on my face!

And Phil, you are right, the things we do to pass the time. I have to travel almost non stop for my job the next few weeks, so wont get too much accomplished, but have started cleaning, and am doing all the bolts right now. I need to look into one of them thread cleaners, but did plan on chasing the threads in all the holes. (Bet a dealer doesn't go to the detail we will)

Taterdog, have a 1-1/2 car garage under the house that is heated and air conditioned, it is my bike shop! My truck and mama's car sit out in the other garage, unheated of course.
At least we know your priorities are straight Dalton

Great Project

An idea we use is to keep a cheap digitial camera handy, take more pictures than we will ever need.

Mount them on the work bench wall above the sub assembly, and they are a great resource fro putting thing back together.

Good Luck

Dalton you should have a tech class (like the BMW guys do)and charge people to watch you take it apart. Then have aother one in the spring when you put it back together. There are alot of us who would like to do it but don't know where to begin. Show me once and I'll at least try it. Sounds like a nice side business!!!

Its a thought, but would rather do a build party down the road for someone that is in the area.

Besides, I would definitely have to have everyone sign a disclaimer that the sight of blood does not bother them. Even though I have been wrenching for a long time, I still "slip" every now and then. I stabbed myself in the end of a finger with the awl I was using to remove the wrist pin keepers...damn that hurts !!![:@]
