Default Primary Chain

How tight should the primary chain be on an 06 roadking classic?

It's a pain to get at through the inspection cover, is there an easier way?

Your service manual will give you the specs for your chain. Through the inspection cover is the easy way.

Don't forget to check freeplay in several spots.
Put bike in 5th gear and turn rear wheel ,since every
chain has a tight spot !

That free play is the top of the chain. Not the bottom laying on the shoe.
